The manual cleaning and manually controlled cleaning configurations for the OilWatcher is applicable when the oil concentration in water is low (typically below 100 ppm) and operators can easily access the OilWatcher. In the manually controlled cleaning configuration, a cleaning fluid container, lines, and fittings are provided to ensure that the cleaning procedure is user friendly and easily initiated when fouling is present. In both configurations, the OilWatcher piping can be isolated with the hand valves provided and brush-cleaned with a tube brush within 1 minute.
